STARSEEKER EARLY ACCESS FAQ
When will STARSEEKER be released?
The game will be released in Early Access on Thursday, June 11th of 2026, at 10:00 AM PT.
When will STARSEEKER leave Early Access and see its full release?
Although it is hard to give a solid date, based on the goals we have, we estimate that the campaign will last around 1 year. We want to work sustainably while leaving enough time to respond to player feedback.
What will the launch price be?
STARSEEKER will be launching in Early Access for $29.99 with regional pricing. That price will include all future content updates. There are also no microtransactions or premium currencies in the game. One price for everything.
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
Yes, we plan on slightly increasing the price once the game leaves Early Access.
Will STARSEEKER have microtransactions?
No, all cosmetics in the game are obtainable with earnable in-game currency or unlocked by player achievements. There are no real money payment options to provide any shortcuts for these rewards. Every update will include new cosmetic options to unlock.
We will, however, periodically release completely optional cosmetic packs directly on store platforms. We are calling them “Supporter Packs”. If you want to support continued development, these special packs are the way to do it.
On what platforms will STARSEEKER be released?
The game is releasing on Steam, the Xbox for PC App, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 in Early Access.
Will STARSEEKER have crossplay and cross-progression?
Yes. For its Early Access release, the game will have both crossplay and cross-progression enabled. This means that you’ll be able to play with other players across different platforms, and your progress will carry over if you play on different platforms.
Will STARSEEKER be compatible with the Steam Deck?
Yes, our aim is to be Steam Deck verified in Early Access. While this might make the game Linux compatible, we’re not officially supporting Linux beyond Steam Deck compatibility.
Will STARSEEKER be available on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, the Early Access release will be available via Game Pass.
What languages will STARSEEKER support?
The game is releasing in Early Access with language support for English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Spanish (Spain).
