STARSEEKER EARLY ACCESS FAQ
When will STARSEEKER leave Early Access and see its full release?
Although it is hard to give a solid date, based on the goals we have, we estimate that the campaign will last around 1 year. We want to work sustainably while leaving enough time to respond to player feedback.
What is the launch price for Early Access?
STARSEEKER launched in Early Access for $29.99 with regional pricing variance. That price will include all future content updates. There are also no microtransactions or premium currencies in the game. One price for everything.
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
Yes, we plan on slightly increasing the price once the game leaves Early Access.
Does STARSEEKER have any premium currency?
No, all currencies in the game are earnable-only, awarded by gameplay. There are multiple vendors in the game that these earned currencies can be spent on. There are no real money payment options to provide any shortcuts for any rewards in the game.
What are Supporter Packs?
These are packs that include the only cosmetics purchasable with real money in the game and are meant to be offered as an additional way to support the studio. We are pausing rolling out new Supporter Packs while we re-evaluate our plan for them. We may bring them back in the future.
On what platforms is STARSEEKER available?
The game is released on Steam, the Xbox for PC App, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 in Early Access.
Does STARSEEKER have crossplay and cross-progression?
Yes. For its Early Access release, the game has both crossplay and cross-progression enabled. This means that you’re able to play with other players across different platforms, and your progress will carry over if you play on different platforms with linked accounts.
Is STARSEEKER compatible with the Steam Deck?
Yes, our aim is to be Steam Deck verified during Early Access. While this might make the game Linux compatible, we’re not officially supporting Linux beyond Steam Deck compatibility.
Is STARSEEKER available on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, the Early Access release is available via Game Pass.
What languages does STARSEEKER support?
The game is available in Early Access with language support for English, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Spanish (Spain).
