STARSEEKER 1.0.10 Hotfix Patch Notes

We have a quick fix and some info to share for the live State of Flux Community Challenge. Keep reading for all the details.

STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions. Patch 1.0.10

We're a few days into the State of Flux Community Challenge and Astroneers are doing a great job at supplying the ESS Starseeker with precious Astral Flux fuel! 

That said, a couple of issues have come to light since this release, so have a look below at how we're addressing them. 

Get Fluxed Palette Reward

Normally, players should be earning the Get Fluxed Palette for completing all of Blandrew's Missions, but a bug is preventing this from happening. In response, we will be granting this Palette to all players who completed these Missions with the release of our next content patch.

For now, aim to complete all Missions as normal if you want to earn this Palette. The final Mission you need to complete is the "Splashdown" Mission from Muriel.

Team Blandrew Mission

For the "Team Blandrew" Mission, the description reads you need to reach Bronze Tier or higher, but it's currently only registering as completed if you specifically reach Bronze Tier. Given the duration of the Community Challenge and other updates that are in the works, we won't be able to fix this before the end of the event.  

Instead, we recommend teaming up with friends who know you're trying to get Bronze or completing the Field Ops quickly before other players show up. Make sure the drill reaches the first Bog Hound encounter and then let them destroy it. Since there's only one Mission requiring this, you'll only need to do it once.

PATCH 1.0.10

This Hotfix makes it so that the Field Ops: Drilling variant that spawns Null Fields embedded in hard terrain won't trigger any more. In the future, we'd like to update our activity UI to give some information about the challenge in advance so that you can better prepare before launching on an Expedition. 

CHANGES

  • Made a change so that Field Ops: Drilling no longer spawns in one of two variants, one of which included Null Fields embedded in hard terrain. This Field Ops now spawns only in one variant, and Null Fields will no longer appear. 

STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions is now available on Steam, the Xbox for PC App, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 in Early Access!
