STARSEEKER 1.3.3 Hotfix Patch Notes

Congratulations on completing the Identity Crisis Community Challenge! Great work, everyone. There's still time left to earn some stretch goal rewards, so keep turning in any Lost IDs you find. And don't forget to also share your Fashion Seekers submissions before the submission period ends this weekend to lock in your participation rewards.

A few troublesome bugs have popped up following the release of the Laser Array Update, so we're issuing a few bug fixes.

PATCH 1.3.3

This hotfix addresses a crash that was affecting some players when trying to play the Uplink Voidbreak Offensive. We also saw the tragically comical videos of Astroneers getting blown off into the stratosphere when trying to use the vents in the Laser Array Voidbreak Offensive. While some may have gotten a few chuckles out of it, it’s gone on long enough.

Nintendo Delay: Because we’re prioritizing the expediency of this hotfix, its release will be delayed for the Nintendo Switch 2. This results in this platform being temporarily out of parity to the version on other platforms. Click here to learn more about Cross-Progression when Out of Parity. We’ll share messaging on our social channels once the update has passed certification and is going live.

• Cross-Progression Warning: If you play on the Switch 2 and have more than one Platform linked for cross-progression, then we recommend playing only on the platform with the latest version of the game available. Avoid playing on the Switch 2 only in this case, until the latest patch has released on Nintendo.
• Cross-Play Warning: While the Switch 2 version is mismatched to other platforms, multiplayer won’t work across platforms to the Switch 2.

BUG FIXES

• AG-20280 – Fixed an issue that was causing a game crash in the Uplink Voidbreak Offensive.
• AG-19955 – Fixed an issue that could result in players getting launched much further than intended when jumping into the vents of the Laser Array Voidbreak Offensive.
• AG-20063 – Fixed an issue with the Virtual Shadow Maps setting in the Visuals Quality options, incorrectly affecting overall brightness and how shadows display.

STARSEEKER: Astroneer Expeditions is now available on Steam, the Xbox for PC App, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 in Early Access!
